Air Quality Action Plan
Where air pollution levels exceed the relevant standards, we are required to declare an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) and subsequently implement an Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) to improve air quality.
We reviewed the current Air Quality Action Plan and what measures should be taken going forward.
The consultation invited the public's ideas and thoughts between 3 January 2024 until 1 March 2024.
Consultation on additional evidence base documents
As part of the Local Plan Review (2016-2036) examination the Inspectors have wrote to the Council setting out the further work required and the way forward for the Examination. This consultation informed the Inspectors in understanding the issues affecting the Local Plan and setting agendas for the future sessions of the Examination Hearing, which is anticipated to commence in early 2024.
The consultation invited the public's ideas and thoughts between 8 September 2023 and 20 October 2023.
Council Tax Support Scheme 2024/2025 Consultation Survey
We review the working age CTS Scheme each year and we are proposing some changes from 1 April 2024. We wanted to know what you think of these changes so we can take your views into account when we make our final decision.

Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) - Restricting Alcohol Consumption
The current Public Space Protection Orders (PSPO) were due to expire on the 30 September 2023 and needed to be renewed, varied or discharged. The Borough Council was seeking to renew the order from the 1 October 2023 for a further three years following a period of public consultation.
