How to apply for a Blue Badge, and how to report misuse of the scheme on the Norfolk County Council's website
What is the Blue Badge scheme?
A Blue Badge is a disabled parking permit. It allows people who are registered blind, or those with severe mobility issues, to park closer to public facilities.
Where you can park
Our list of council car parks gives details of which locations provide disabled spaces. Just select the area you’re visiting, and check individual car park pages. You must display your Blue Badge when parking in a disabled space.
Please note; all of our car parks have parking charges, depending on the length of time you wish to stay. Check our car parks list for details.

To find out where else you can park with your Blue Badge, please read the GOV.UK rights and responsibilities guide.
Apply for a Blue Badge
The Blue Badge scheme is administered by Norfolk County council.
To apply you must fulfil certain criteria. You can find out more, and apply, on Norfolk County Council's blue badges page.
Report Blue Badge misuse
A Blue Badge is issued to a person rather than a vehicle. Misuse of a Blue Badge includes:
- using the badge when it's no longer needed
- giving it to someone else to use
If you suspect that someone is not using their Blue Badge correctly, you can report this on Norfolk County Council's blue badges page.
