Litter
If a person drops, throws or leaves litter, they are committing a littering offence.
Please let us know about a litter problem so we can get it cleared up. For example, fast food rubbish, cigarette ends and discarded chewing gum.

Litter bins
We have litter bins throughout the borough. We empty the bins in King's Lynn and Downham Market main town centres. Bins in Hunstanton and the villages throughout west Norfolk are emptied by Serco. You can contact them on 03301099220.
You can help us by:
- being tidy with your litter and chewing gum
- using litter-bins and encouraging others to use them
- recycling paper, bottles, cans, clothing and household furniture
Dog waste bins
We provide dog waste bins in King's Lynn, Downham Market, Heacham beach and Hunstanton.
If you live in one of the surrounding villages, then you need to contact your local Parish Council to request a dog waste bin.
