Tell us if we've missed your trade waste collection
What to do if your trade collection is missed
Our collection crews empty bins up until 6:00pm. If your trade bin or trade waste sacks aren't emptied by this time, we may be having service issues, possibly caused by poor weather conditions or problems on the road. We'll tell you on the service disruption page about any delays in providing your service.
Please note; your collection is likely to be postponed in the weeks of bank or public holidays.
We won't empty your bin or collect side waste if:
- it's not at the collection point by 6:00am when the crews start collecting
- side or excess waste has not been pre-agreed with us, or hasn't been put out correctly
Tell us we've missed your collection
We may have missed your trade waste collection by mistake, for which we apologise. Please report this to us before 12 noon on the next working day after the collection was due, by using the form below.
To report your missed bin/trade waste sack you'll need:
- your address details
- the planned date of your collection
What happens next?
We’ll return to collect your trade bin within two days. Please leave your trade bin at the collection point until emptied.
Trade waste sacks are more likely to get damaged, so we aim to collect them as quickly as possible. Please contact trade.waste@west-norfolk.gov.uk to re-arrange the collection.
If you don’t contact us before 12 noon on the next working day after your collection was due, we won’t be able to return. You’ll have to wait until your next scheduled collection date.
