About the policy
Under the Gambling Act 2005 all licensing authorities throughout England and Wales are required to review their Statement of Principles (gambling policy) every three years. Our current Statement of Principles expires on 31 January 2025.

What's changed?
The proposed changes are minor as nothing new has been implemented since the last version was approved. There is an update to the area population figure, slight amendments to wording and changes to the consultee list.
Consultation
The consultation ended on Monday 16 September 2024.
All responses received are being considered, and the Statement of Principles will be updated as appropriate.
