Ringstead Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 16 Consultation
Following the receipt of Regulation 15 Neighbourhood Plan (NP) submission, as a relevant local planning authority, we are required to consult on the submitted NP in advance of an independent examination, under Regulation 16.
Ringstead Neighbourhood Plan, Regulation 16 consultation will commence on Friday 14 June 2024 at 12:00 and finish on Friday 26 July 2024 at 23:59. All responses will be submitted to the examiner to determine whether the Neighbourhood Plan meets the “basic conditions”, the statutory tests that a Neighbourhood Plan needs to fulfil.
Making Representations
Representations can be accessed and submitted using our online portal which will enable us to process these in an efficient and timely manner. Alternatively, representations can be submitted by:

Representations should be submitted by 11:59pm on Friday 26 July 2024.
Please note that all comments will be made publicly available to read following the closure of the consultation period. Any comments may include a request to be notified of the Borough Council’s decision under Regulation 19 in relation to the Neighbourhood Plan.
A hard copy of the plan is available to view at the Council offices 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am to 4:45pm on Fridays. Hard copies are also available at the following public libraries:
- Dersingham
- Hunstanton
- King’s Lynn

Submission of Plan Regulation 15
Ringstead Parish Council submitted their Neighbourhood Plan to the Council in 22 April 2024 in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, Regulation 15. Following that, Borough council issued Regulation 15 (Legal Check Letter) allowing the Neighbourhood Plan to proceed to consultation under Regulation 16, which is anticipated to take place June/July 2024.
