What is a local association?
A local association is a membership group for tourism businesses. Joining can give many benefits, including:
- having access to advice and support from others
- a great way to network
- being able to group lobby on major issues
Where can I join?
There is one local association in our area that we're currently aware of:
West Norfolk Hospitality Association (WNHA)
WNHA was originally formed as a self-help group for accommodation providers in and around King's Lynn. It now also invites restaurants to join too, as many share similar concerns.
The group benefits from shared information, and has a collective lobbying voice. It has a representative on various local groups such as Norfolk Tourism, West Norfolk Tourism Forum and Pub Watch.
