On Thursday 22 July 2021, a referendum poll was conducted asking the following: "Do you want the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Holme-next-the-sea to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?" The results are as follows:
