The Core Strategy document
The Core Strategy is a document, which forms one part of the Local Development Framework. It will:
- guide development and the use of land up to 2026
- steer and shape new development
- set out the long term plans for the borough
The Core Strategy document has had a number of formal public consultations. It has changed to take into account any public comments received.
The Core Strategy has been developed since 2005. It was adopted on 28 July 2011.
