Mintlyn Crematorium is hosting a Christmas carol service on Wednesday 15 December at 7pm.
The crematorium introduced this family-friendly carol service in 2018 and it has raised hundreds of pounds for charity. This year they will be supporting The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, as well as the Mayor’s charities. Guests will be invited to make a voluntary donation for a special message tag to place on the Christmas Tree of Memories. Please note the updated Government Plan B rules requires all staff and public at this event to wear a face covering, unless exempt.
The service will be led by Canon Peter Rollings of Our Lady of the Annunciation in King’s Lynn, Rev Becca Rogers of St Faith’s in Gaywood, and civil celebrant Mr Mark Tyack. Music will be performed by the Snettisham Salvation Arm Band, and resident Mintlyn organist Mr Jonathan Chaddock.
Mayor of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Cllr Harry Humphrey, will also be attending the service.
This is a free event for everyone to attend but due to its popularity, a ticket will be required for entry. Alternatively the service will be webcast for those unable to attend. Please email mintlyn@west-norfolk.gov.uk or telephone 01553 630533 for tickets or webcast log-on details.
Face coverings are encouraged for this event and hand sanitisation facilities will be available. If you are suffering from the symptoms of Covid-19 please do not attend.
Mintlyn Crematorium is located on Lynn Road, Bawsey, King’s Lynn PE32 1HB.
