On Thursday 1 December 2022 voters in Brancaster will go to the polls to vote in the Brancaster Parish Council by-election.
Potential candidates must submit nomination papers by 4pm on Friday 4 November 2022.
Anyone wishing to vote must register by midnight on Tuesday 15 November 2022 if they have not already done so. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Voting will take place at Brancaster Village Hall, Main Road, PE31 8AP.
The polling station will be open from 7am to 10pm.
Anyone who is unable to vote in person can check if they are eligible for a postal or proxy vote by contacting Electoral Services on 01553 616773.
The deadline for applications to vote by post is 5pm on Wednesday 16 November 2022 (for new postal voting arrangements and amendments to existing arrangements, including postal proxies). This is also the deadline for amendments to existing arrangements to vote by proxy.
The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy is 5pm on Wednesday 23 November 2022.
The deadline for emergency proxy vote applications (if the emergency arose after 5pm on Wednesday 23 November 2022) is 5pm on Thursday 1 December 2022.
The votes will be counted on Friday 2 December 2022 at King's Centre, Wellesley Street, King's Lynn, PE30 1QD.
