Coinciding with Valentine's Day and the opening of the historic King's Lynn Mart, Love West Norfolk Day provided people with an opportunity to celebrate what they love about this beautiful borough.
The theme this year was again Green Love West Norfolk, encouraging people to really think about and celebrate their environment, from beautiful beaches, to rolling countryside, nature reserves and areas of outstanding natural beauty, and of course the big skies that are so popular with star gazers.
People started posting images with the hashtag #lovewestnorfolk ahead of the day itself, showcasing the things they love about the area, and lots of groups have requested Love West Norfolk litter-picking kits, to help make their local environment even more beautiful.
Along with numerous individuals The Police, College West Anglia, Norfolk Chambers of Commerce, Alive Corn Exchange, Trues Yard, All Things Norfolk, Visit West Norfolk and the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk, posted images and shared social media posts about Love West Norfolk Day.
Cllr Sam Sandell, Cabinet Member for People and Communities, said:
"Once again, people and organisations have showed the rest of the world what is so wonderful about West Norfolk. Love West Norfolk Day is such a positive activity that everyone can get involved with. It is so lovely being able to see and read about what people find special in west Norfolk, and it really makes you appreciate everything we have right on our doorstep."
