A Mini adventure and live music in the Market Place

Mini Meet in the Market Place. Sunday 1 September 10am - 3pm

Published: Wednesday, 28th August 2024

Fans of Mini cars can see come see hundreds parked in the Tuesday Market Place this Sunday for the return of the Mini Meet between 10am and 3pm.

As well as a variety of Minis, there will be live music from The Groove Hounds, Good Company and DJ set by Mark Purdy on stage at the event on Sunday 1 September.

Cllr Bal Anota, Cabinet member for Events and Open Spaces, said:

“It feels like summer is nearly over as the schools go back next week but we still have two of the best events on the King’s Lynn calendar to enjoy starting this Sunday, 1 September, with the eighth annual Mini Meet. This event is always well supported, with over 200 of the iconic classic and modern cars on display and some great live bands to entertain the many visitors to the Tuesday Market Place.

“The car’s the star in the Tuesday Market Place again the following weekend, on Sunday 8 September, with our annual Classic Car Show. It’s our part of Heritage Open Day when historic buildings open their doors, organised by King’s Lynn Civic Society. I can’t wait.”
